I visited Tangier several weeks ago with my wife and in-laws. We had excellent food and the service was above and beyond what I usually receive when eating out in Boulder. We were left to enjoy every stage of our meal, and at the end of the evening I felt revitalized by the complete experience. Khalil and his staff do their best to make you feel that you have been welcomed into their home, and I recommend this new addition to Boulder restaurants. For those of you who dined at Mataam Fez before it closed a few years ago, I feel Tangier is far superior.

We recently went to Tangier for dinner and had an excellent - 5 star - meal! The service was outstanding, the atmosphere is fabulous, and the food was the best I've ever had! The restaurant is set up on one side with low tables, pillows and tre' comfortable sofas for the ultimate dining experience; the other half of the room is set up with traditional tables and chairs. From the moment you walk in the door to the moment you pull yourself away from the table, Khalil (the owner) and his staff will make you feel like royalty. One final note, the Moroccan dining experience is not for a quick meal - it's about enjoying every bite and taking your time. Relax and let Khalil take care of you.
